  1. I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and I am still in love with him. I love everything about him. I am planning a proposal for christmas eve and I already have his ring on its way. . I am scared though. As far as me having the upperhand. . we have always respected eachother and met in the middle with boundaries neither of us have controlled the other and I plan on staying that way.

  2. Do women ask men to marry them? In my case, sort of. When the time came, my wife wanted me to marry her. She even bought the rings. She did say she wanted me to ask her, which I did as a formality. But basically she married me.

Does she have the upper hand? Yes. She married me and she was also more career driven, so she holds most of the control in the relationship. She expects me to keep house while she works. Although I do work part-time.

If I’m honest about it, she wears the pants. Basically she prefers to lead and likes me to follow. I guess I wear the tights, but I’m used to it by now. I go with the flow.
