Not too long ago, social networking became one of the hottest trends on the internet. Myspace came out very early in the game and so many others followed. In this point and time, in order for your social networking site to even make a list it has to offer something unique, which will make it different from all the others that are on the internet. Your social networking site has to have that special ‘it” factor to get people to just keep coming back and visit. One of my favorite social networking sites, I must admit is facebook. Over the past few years, it has become quite an addiction. I used to enjoy going on Myspace also but once they started focusing more on advertising and pop ups, I started to lose interest. I mean don’t get me wrong, I do understand that these sites make their money through advertising, which is how they can keep up their sites and make it available to all those who enjoy them but some of these social networks should definitely know when there is ad overload on their site. Facebook seems to have a different take on the way they do advertising. Everyone’s profile seems to stay in tact and all the advertising is done on the sides which definitely isn’t so distracting. So as far as my list goes, facebook still remains to be number one in  my book.

I have been in relationship with my hubby for 4 years now. When we initially got married, he took his time to ensure that I was very satisfied, especially when it came to how he performed in the bedroom. We would find ourselves making love for hours on end at times. Well after the honeymoon phase of our marriage was over, we both started to work more hours, my husband’s stamina and drive to having sex with me just wasn’t the same. Yet, I find that my wanting to have sex with him just hasn’t changed but rather has increased. I find that it takes so much more to get him to have sex with me than it did before and I honestly don’t know what it is. Rather than us going at it for hours now I’d be lucky if it even lasts a good 10 minutes. What should I do about this?

Does God have a health plan for us? This is something that many people discuss and argue about all the time. Since the beginning of time God has always had a health plan for his children. In the beginning of time, God gave Adam and Eve before sin what it is that they could eat and couldn’t eat. ”And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed … and every tree … yielding seed.” “Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat.” Genesis 1:29; 2:16. When sin entered the Earth, the plan shifted just a bit but it still remained in the realms of things that are clean vs. those that are unclean. In Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14, it talks about all of those animals that are considered clean and those that are unclean. Those that are clean are good to eat and those that are unclean was never intended by God to be a part of our diet. For example some animals that are considered clean would be chicken, beef, fish with scales and fins, etc. Some of which are considered unclean would be pork, lobsters, shellfish, things that creep the earth, are considered to be unclean and shouldn’t be eaten. 

An additional argument that’s made was that this was only intended for the Jews and no one else. Well if we go back to the time of Noah, Noah was very well aware of the animals that were considered clean and unclean and this was obviously way before Jews were even in existence.

So what does all of this mean? What this means is that God, the creator of all things, including you knows what is good for you and what isn’t. He knows the purpose of each animal that he created and exactly what their function should be. So if you say you love God, then isn’t important to do what he asks of you.

This is what bad relationships and bad publicity can cause you, to lose people’s respect and to lose your money. According to E Online, Rihanna may lose some major endorsement deals because she has decided to take Chris Brown back. Some of the companies that gave her these endorsements are waiting to see how the public will react to what she has done. If the public isn’t that supportive then bye bye endorsements. The most logical reason I see fit is probably that this will in turn give their brand a negative look and risk them losing consumers which in turn causes them to lose money. 

So what should Rihanna do, risk losing her endorsements or just lose Chris Brown?

It is said that Monday morning, President Obama is to overturn a decision that was made by the Bush administration on embryonic stem cell research. A congressional Republican is criticizing the President in saying that his decision for the reversal of embryonic stem cell research is a way to distract people of the real problem at hand, which of course is the economy. Representative Eric said in the “State of the Union, why are we distracting ourselves from the economy”? There are some though such as Melody Barnes, which is a White House domestic policy advisor that feels that this move is very important because this will “restore scientific integrity in governmental decision making.” It’s imperative that the White House plays an integrated role in both science and technology.  It is understandable where some may feel that President’s Obama’s entire focus should solely be on the economy and how to restore it but it is very important to remember as well that there are other issues on the table that the president is still presented with and must also deal with accordingly.

Many people have opinions on embryonic stem cell research, how do you feel about it?

I know what your thinking enough already, but you have to say that this intrigues you just a bit. Yesterday at Chris Brown’s hearing Rihanna wasn’t present but her lawyers were and they pleaded with the court to allow Chris Brown to have visitation rights. The LA Times reports that “The judge instead issued what Etra later described as the lowest-level order, a blanket ban against Brown, 19, annoying, harassing, molesting or using force or violence against anyone.” I hope that RiRi don’t regret this decision.
