Teens and sex is a very serious topic. Working with teens for some time I have come across a numerous amount that know more about sex today than Idid when I was their age. Society makes sex so attractive and available that it makes it easy for teenagers to fall into the trap of having sex at an earlier age than they were meant to. Many times, they don’t fully understand the meaning of sex and the sacredness of it. They simply see it as a way to fit in or to satisfy someone that they may think they like or even love. Having sex at an early age can be detrimental to the human psyche. There are so many things a person should experience before taking that step with another human being and believe me as a teenager you are far from having such experiences. Kids start having sex even before they hit puberty, even before they fully understand their body parts. One reason specifically, why a teen may decide to start having sex early is because there is no one to help them understand the importance of waiting.
Sex, whether early or late can lead to a lot of things, for example, an unexpected pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, most of which stays with you for the rest of your life and some that will actually kill you.
For teenagers that are thinking about having sex, DON”T, know that there is absolutely nothing wrong in waiting until you have found the ONE.
P.S. Don’t be fooled by those claiming to be the ONE!!
