For those of you that missed Dancing with the Stars, here is a quick wrap up of what went down. The first couple to step on the dance floor was Melissa and Tony that did the quickstep. They did a good job but the judges thought the dance wasn’t joyful enough which caused her to receive a score of 28. The next dance, which was the waltz was done by Gilles Marini (my favorite) definitely stole the show. He recieved a score of 30 for his first performance with Cheryl Burke. Shawn Johnson also recieved a score of 30 for her Argentine tango with her partner Mark. The next couple to hit the dance floor was Ty which did the Vienesse Waltz with his partner Chelsie and he recieved a score of 25 (no surprise there). The second round Melissa and Tony did the cha-cha and they received a score of 27. Gilles and Marini were up next and they absolutely stole the show. They received a score of 10 again for their performance (well deserved). Shawn and Mark did the jive and they ended up with a total of 26 for this dance. Ty and Chelsie, did the samba and received a score of 23. Tomorrow night we find out who goes home but I really hope that we don’t have any surprises like we did last week when Lil Kim went home instead of Ty. I guess we’ll have to wait and see!

Last night on Dancing with the Stars, the remaining five performed and tried to dance their hearts out by providing us with two performances and thankfully Melissa Rycroft is back in the competition and looked amazing as she danced her heart out. Gilles Marini, which is one of my favorites a 29 for his first performance and for his second he earned a 27. Lil Kim earned 25 for her waltz with her partner Derek and for her second performance, she earned a 27 for her salsa, which she apparently is better at since she gets to shake her “bionic booty” as Bruno likes to call it. My other favorite, Melissa Rycroft from the Bachelor, really did her thing as she returned to the show last night from her injury, and she came out with a bang, she earned a 27 for her first performance and a perfect score of 30 for her samba. Shawn Johnson, which also did a great job last night, got scores of 27 and 29. Ty Murray, unfortunately fell at the bottom this week with his scores and his dancing, he received a score of 25 for his Argentine Tango and a score of 21 for his rumba.

So who got cut tonight from dancing with the stars? Drum roll…..after tonight we are down to six and it was Lawrence Taylor that went home. It was between Lawrence and Ty that were in the bottom tow that were at risk to go home but tonight was Lawrence’s turn to put up his dancing shoes. Lawrence worked really hard all season and did always tried to put his best foot forward when he performed. We wish him the best of luck !!!

What happened tonight on dacing with the stars? A whole lot!! Tonight, we have a new couple that took the lead and it’s becoming harder and harder to hide any more poor dancing skills. Tonight was definitely the Bachelor’s Melissa Rycroft that took the lead with a solid score of 29. Her and her partner did a wonderful job doing the Argentine tango and she was able to receive some tips from Teri Hatcher from the hit show “Desperate Housewives”. Lawrence Taylor, which may very well be next to go since he hasn’t been doing that great receieved a score of 21. Lil Kim and her partner Derek, contiued with her good streak and received a score of 26, which is average for her and her partner. She also tried to tone down on her sex appeal, but outside of her dancing abilities that the only other thing she really has going for her. Chuck Wicks and his girlfriend Julianne Hough got a score of 27 for their samba, Len told him he thought this was his best performance ever. Ty got a 24 this week for his dance and may be in the bottom two this week, maybe. Shawn Johnson received a score of 28, which puts her in second place this week. Gilles Marini and his partner Cheryl Burke who were doing incredibly well early on in the competition didn’t finish first for the past few weeks and really need to bring back their “A” game because they do have some serious competition out there. They received a score of 27, which tied them with Chuck. Tomorrow night, we will find out the results and see who goes home this week. Can’t wait to find out. Come back and check to see who goes home.
I predict this might be Lawrence Taylor’s last week. Who do you think will go home?

Ok…first let me apologize for taking long to write this for those of you that missed the show but i’m still recovering from the results. Let me just catch my breath. Ok, Shawn Johnson, Lil Kim, and my favorite Gilles were announced safe early on in the show. And then something so unexpected happen, Steve-O was considered safe. Steve-O the one that continues to receive low scores and have had more injuries than one can count is still in the game. Now you understand why I was shocked. I guess he really does have some hard core fans out there supporting him, because it can’t be his dancing that’s carrying him through in this competition. Melissa Rycroft, Chuck and Ty were also left off the hook. The dance off was between football player, Lawrence Taylor and David (the comedian). Although David did have a higher score than Lawrence in last night’s performance, it didn’t give him any advantage, and unfortunately after his performance, he was sent packing. Poor David. I actually thought he would have gotten much further since he did do a pretty decent job throughout the competitions. This is just to show that you can stink in dancing, but if you have faithful fans then you can really win in these competitions. I guess we have to wait and see what next week will bring in this competition.

Caliente is the word to use for Gilles Marini and Cheryl Burke. Those two together are definitely on fire. Last night, Gilles came out shirtless to do his paso doble dance and he did an extremely good job. Carrie Ann and Bruno both were jumping with joy because they thought he did such an amazing job but Leno said it was a bit hectic, which is why they recieved a score of 29/30 which is a point lower than last week. Some other favorites for the night were Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas, which did the romantic Vienesse waltz, they recieved a score of 26, which was just one point higher than their previous score from last week. Lil Kim and her partner, Derek Hough also did a good job with the Vienesse dance and recieved a score of 26/30. Although Melissa Rycroft did do a good job, she just didn’t seem in her element. She did a much better job last week than last night, which she received a 25/30 for, which was a drop from her near perfect of 29/30 from the week before.
Well, these were the contenders with the highest points, so who might be going home, is completely up to the judges and the people at home.
This week, it might definitely be Stevo-O’s last week in DWTS, after recieving the lowest score of the night.
