How many of you have put your heart and soul into something and it just didn’t turn out the way you had originally planned? I know I have time and time again. I sometimes feel like I do all that I can to learn only the hardest lesson in this life, which is you simply can’t. What exactly is considered to be a failure though, is what I continously ask myself as I continue on this journey I call life. Is it really trying my hardest at accomplishing something and then falling short of my goal, or could it be the not trying at all that would have made it a failure. I would definitely say it would be the latter. You see, how would we ever know if we would be successful at something if we in fact never tried it? And yes, the reality of this life is that we probably won’t succeed at everything that we do, but in a sense trying it out is a success in itself and while were at it, if we do put God first and it is his will for us to succeed, then we really shouldn’t worry about not being successful. I know that we all have things that we wish we were better at or even question as to why we even bother wiith trying to do them in the first place, I too ask myself these questions, but anytime I ever feel like giving up or like I’m failing at what it is I’m trying to accomplish, I simply pray and ask my Heavenly Father, that if it is his will that he allows me to be successful at it, because all I can really do is try.

“Many of us as Christians get discouraged when we can’t find our “soul mate” our “other half” the one to “complete our world” but I believe that there is a bigger picture involved. At times, some individuals may get discouraged because they can’t find a man or women and may even start to believe that there is something wrong with them, i.e. their appearance, character, or event their personality. But has it ever occurred to you that God may be saving g you from a disaster? I recently wrote this as my status on Facebook, and it inspired me to write on it. My status says “To my fellow Christians: You know, to me, being single doesn’t mean you can’t get a man. I think being single simply means you’re waiting for God to fix that man or women and yourself before he puts the two together
Wait on the Lord.” Isaiah 40: 31 says “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” If we as Christians are more patient for our soul mate, He will give us strength to make it through the hard times in that relationship; He will allow us to rise above the little things that may be the doorway to a heartbreak and a terrible break up; He will give us to ability to run into the arms of the one he has prepared for us, instead of leaving them because of their faults, and He will enable us to be holy and to walk with an everlasting holiness as we profess Jesus as our Lord and Savior. So to my fellow Christians, “Wait on the Lord; be of good courage and he shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say on the Lord!” (Ps. 27:14). God Bless!”

The answer to this question is unknown even to the angels in heaven but it is a reality that may be here sooner than many people think. Look around you and really ask yourself if you aren’t living in the last times. If you haven’t picked up your bible’s in a while, it wouldn’t be a bad time to really start reading and finding out for yourself if what’s happening today during our time is what was already written. I have a story to share with all of you that hopefully will have you all thinking about how important it is that we do get our life in order and in accordance to God’s will. This story was told to me and I truly felt compelled to share it with all of you.
This story that I’m about to share actually happened to an aunt of a friend of mine. One afternoon, this lady was driving to go home and on her way home, a man waved her down to ask her for a ride. Usually she wouldn’t give strange men rides, especially those she had never met but for some odd reason she explained that this time she felt that she had to. She felt like something was pushing her to give this man a ride. So she pulled over and let the man into her car and had him sit in the back of the car as she drove. As she was driving the man started telling her about how all the biblical prophecies are being accomplished and how there isn’t much time left . As the man was telling her all of this, she asked him ‘well at what stage are we exactly now, in regards to the prophecies,’ the man went on to answer telling her that “I am sounding the trumpet’ when the man said that she was astonished, because he used the “I” and as she turned back to look at him, he was gone. When she no longer saw him, she stopped the car frantically in the middle of the street she explained because she felt like she has seen a ghost. A cop pulled up to her vehicle and asked her what was wrong, but she could barely speak. The cop insisted that she told him so he could help her. She told the policeman that if she told him he honestly wouldn’t believe her. The policeman asked her to try. So she explained to him what happened, and he told her that he wasn’t surprised because she was the 5th person that this happened to today.
Now I know many people may read this and think that it’s just a joke, and that’s fine…but believe me when I say that Jesus isn’t far from coming, if you ever need any proof of that just open up the word and read for yourself and you will see that many of the prophecies that are stated are taking place as I write. I just hope that we all take the time to really evaluate our lives and see if Jesus would come today, would we be ready for Him to take us home.
Thanks for reading!

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a blessed weekend. Today’s topic is one of great importance and something we all should really think about each and every day to ensure that we are ready to go to heaven. For those of you that may not may not know, Jesus is coming back very soon. Looking at all the different prophecies and the way this world is going, we have to wonder how far off Jesus’s return really is. Everyday I try to ask myself, if Jesus would come today, would I be ready to go home and if I can’t confidently say “yes” then I try harder to get my life in order. Many people think that they can live their life any kind of way and they will still make into heaven’s gate, and fortunately that is not the case. God has set up standards here on this Earth for us to abide by so that when we make it to heaven we will already be used to these standards, because God’s law’s are eternal as he is. We are all saved by God’s grace and it’s up to us to choose to do his will. God is asking more of us everyday, he requires us to seek him. It’s all about what can I do today, tomorrow and the rest of my life to ensure my spot in heaven? Personally, I cannot wait until Jesus returns to take me home but just like everyone else, I have to make sure that I have my life in order in order to get there. Nothing in this life is worth losing your eternal life over. So I pray that we all take the time each and every day to order our steps in God’s word. God would love to take all of us to heaven but some of us just won’t know how to act and if we can’t do his will on this Earth, then it would be it would be impossible to do it when we get to heaven. So if you have a bible, and it’s dusty I would suggest that you dust it off and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and help you to see what it is that is required of you.

What comes to mind when we hear the words spiritual growth. The most common answer maybe wanting a closer relationship with Christ. Although this answer is a valid one, as well as others if there may be any, I have realized a lot about spiritual growth. I will focus on only one aspect of spiritual growth, and that is trust. Trust is something that many of us have gained or lost, and it’s also something that is continuous; it is every growing. Either you trust someone and your trust for that person grows, or you have lost trust and the deficiency grows, but however the direction, trust is an ever growing thing. But how many of us really trust God? Better yet, how many of us REALLY and TRULY believe there is even a God. What is a relationship without trust?
I happen to sometimes experience a trust growth and deficiency with God sometimes. Sometimes I trust Him when things are looking good from my perspective and I seem to have a good amount of control over the destiny of whatever the situation may be. But there are times when I lose trust when I can’t find a way for the situation’s destiny to work out in my favor, because I have lost control. This might be a major problem with some of us, as I’m sure some can relate. But what does that say in our belief in God? It hurts me sometimes to not trust him at all times, because then the trust seems to be a convenient thing when I already know how things will end, especially if it’s in my favor. Then if I have a convenient trust, that must mean I have a convenient God; only seeking Him and asking things of Him when I already know what the answer most likely will be. Let’s define trust, then, shall we? Merriam Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines trust as “1 a: to place confidence: DEPEND <~in God> <~to luck> b: to be confident: HOPE 1. To commit or place in one’s care of keeping: ENTRUST b: to permit to stay or go to do something without fear or misgiving 2 a: to rely on the truthfulness or accuracy of: BELIEF b: to place confidence in: rely on c: to hope or expect confidently
Do we see these definitions? And it’s awesome how the bible does back up each and every one. Hebrews 4:16 says “Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need.” How is that that the Lord bids us to come boldly to Him when we know we don’t even deserve to ask anything of Him! As sinful and filthy beings, we are to trust that whatsoever we ask in His name and it is in His will, he will grant it to us.
