Breaking up is never easy, and getting over someone is the hardest part of it all, especially when you invested so much of yourself into the relationship. This is usually hardest for those that did in fact fall in love but fell out of it at some point in their relationship. Despite how much someone wants to contest it takes a lot of energy to be in a relationship and even more energy sometimes to get over one.

Getting over someone that is obviously getting over you is very important. It’s important that a person learns to move on with their lives in the fastest way possible so that you don’t become depressed or sad or think about the situation that you have found yourself in. Here are some key things to do in order to get over your ex and move forward with your life.

Once you have found that you are back to being single,it’s important that you put away all the things that reminds you of when you were in your relationship, especially pictures. Next you should start making a list of all the things that you wish you had more time for, but maybe couldn’t find the time for while you were in your relationship. If you haven’t been working out, trust this would be the best time to start. Make a list of every single thing you’ve ever wanted to do, and choose one of them that you will do within the next week or few weeks, depending on what it is and the time frame required for it.

Many people tend to fall into a trap of getting out of one relationship and suddenly start another. Big mistake! It’s important that during this time, you go back and revisit some things that probably caused your relationship to fail, and who was at fault. Now I did say to put away all things that remind you of your relationship, which still remains true, but this part has to do more so with you and your feelings. This particularly will help you heal and perhaps help you in your future relationships.

Also, let’s not forget to go out and enjoy ourselves during this time, meet new people, mingle, have lots of fun and remember that there is that right person for you.

Don’t be afraid of what tomorrow may bring, but rather live for today. Yesterday’s troubles are exactly what they are yesterday’s troubles, so don’t let them keep you down.

Ok for those of you who missed American Idol last night, here’s a recap of the events that happened. Lil Rounds, is not doing as well as the judges thought that she would be doing, she seems to lack originality,  Simon Cowell told her  ”I have no idea who you are.” If Lil Rounds, 24 year old Memphis mom she may very well be the next to go. Something happened last night that was very much out of the ordinary, Simon Cowell gave someone a standing ovation.  Adam Lambert, received astanding ovation for his rendition of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears. Other people that recieved high praises were Danny Glokey ( a fav of mine), Anoop Desai also recieved some praises. Kris Allan that usually gets good reviews, didn’t do so hot according to Simon Cowell, Cowell used words such as “indulgent, boring, forgettable.” The 16 year old, Iraheta, also did a good job according to judge Randy Jackson, compared her to Kelly Clarkson and said she could sing her face off just like Kelly Clarkson. Tonight is the result show, and who knows if America get’s it wrong according to the judges, they may use their save.

Eddy and Maria were about to celebrate their 4 year anniversary in a few months. Maria was ecstatic because she was certain that this would be her last year as an unmarried woman and that finally her boyfriend of four years would finally decide to pop the question. One night a few months before their anniversary, Eddy went out with his friends, got drunk and made some mistakes that could have altered the rest of his life. He found himself waking up, naked next to a girl that he had only met the night before at some bar. It took him a few minutes to collect his thoughts and realize that he cheated on the love of his life and had reached a point of no return. Eddy went home ashamed of course and immediately faced the music by telling his girlfriend, Maria that he had cheated on her. Maria was outraged of course, at that very moment she felt like her entire universe had fallen apart.

Cheating, a very common disease that we find infiltrating relationships all around the world. This is something that can cause relationships to crumble and never be rebuilt. When a person cheats on their partner, you not only cause this person pain, agony, heartache, and grief but you also run them at a risk to lose their life, if you are involved with them sexually. If a woman or a man finds out that they’ve been cheated on, should they or shouldn’t they take their partner back. Is telling the person that you won’t allow this happen enough? What can you do to prove that this isn’t going to be a common trend in your relationship? Cheating isn’t something that you can take back, it’s a scar that will stay forever. Forgiveness though is something that should be a part of every relationship, but don’t be mistaken, just because we can forgive doesn’t mean that we will forget. It’s important that if a person decides to stick it out with their partner through these difficult times, that you take the time to find trust in the  person again but you also learn to let go of the past and not hold these things against them forever. The business world is very competitive and as a new and upcoming business sometimes it will be a very difficult task to cope with the companies, which have been in business longer. The key to the start of any business is doing a lot of research on your current industry and your competitors. By researching you will know and understand what your competitors are doing are doing right and most of the time what they are doing that is wrong which may give you an advantage in that market or industry.

For instance, I started a small a web design business when I was 23 and it wasn’t until last year 2008 I can honestly say that I have no complaints on the outcome. I had no knowledge really on what a business supposed to be. I thought just learning how to create websites by learning HTML, CSS, Photoshop and some other programs would be all that I need, boy was I wrong. Some of the things I found out during the course of the years have helped me a lot. However, if I had found any information really detailing this part to me before I started; I probably would be doing much better now. There are many steps and questions involved in the research process.

1.       Research your current industry and figure out the needs.

2.      Be specific in terms of location and target.

3.      Know your targeted audience.

How do I go by surveying my current industry, one may ask? Though it’s a really time consuming process, it is very important. Find out exactly what your competitor is charging for their services, how they work with clients. You may choose to do the same or choose to customize to make it better suit your business style.

Business is global however, it’s good at times to think about the bigger picture, however, being specific about your target could be best.  Currently I am in Miami Florida, I have to know be specific with my goals, which is to first find targets in the Miami area and then expand.

Knowing how your competitors work will be helpful to you, and then may give you a much better way of understanding your targeted audience. For instance, in the Miami area, not many Web Design companies provide onsite consulting services or visit. I find that information useful because I provide that kind of services. I have driven long distance at time to meet with a client to discuss their business needs and how we would be able to provide a solution to their needs.

In closing, researching your current industry and figuring out the needs, being specific with your market and location and knowing your targeted audience will help you to gain clients in a competitive market as a newly upcoming business. Also, one of the important things I found out is that dealing with clients can be one of the most difficult tasks. This is simply because at times clients change their minds in order to cope with those clients, please be really humble, understanding, and most of all patience.
