What is too old to be livng at home with mom and dad? Some people believe that once they are 18 then it is definitely time to leave the nest? Some people go off to college and never come back home, while others sometimes leave, come back and end up staying for too long, there are those though that just never leave their mom’s and dad’s. Should a person at 30 still be living at home with their parents, or is it time to spread their wings and go and do their own thing?

Thirty is a critical age for anyone, it’s a time in a person’s life where they need to know exactly what they want, and living on their own, in their own space should definitely be something to consider. At 30, you should be adult enough to take care of yourself and your own household, you should know how to pay bills, and should be able to walk around your house naked if that’s your will, without worrying about mom or dad telling you to put on some clothes (just a thought). Independence, is something that can very attractive as well, when you are looking to get into a serious relationship. A girl would love to know that a man has his own space, and this should go both ways. There comes a time in this life where everyone really needs to just spread their wings and fly away on their own.

America says goodbye  to one more contestant on American Idol, and so it was seven. Scott MacIntyre says goodbye tonight. Scott sang last night, “The Search is over” accompanied by his electric guitar and Simon said that “the song was atrocious, and the guitar-playing wasn’t much better.” So it seems that America must have felt the same way as Simon because Scott ended up going home tonight. We now have next week to look forward to with the 7 contestants. Wonder,when the judges will decide to use thier save, if ever? For those of you that were fans of Scott, don’t worry, you’ll get to see him again on tour.

Ok for those of you who missed American Idol last night, here’s a recap of the events that happened. Lil Rounds, is not doing as well as the judges thought that she would be doing, she seems to lack originality,  Simon Cowell told her  ”I have no idea who you are.” If Lil Rounds, 24 year old Memphis mom she may very well be the next to go. Something happened last night that was very much out of the ordinary, Simon Cowell gave someone a standing ovation.  Adam Lambert, received a standing ovation for his rendition of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears. Other people that recieved high praises were Danny Glokey ( a fav of mine), Anoop Desai also recieved some praises. Kris Allan that usually gets good reviews, didn’t do so hot according to Simon Cowell, Cowell used words such as “indulgent, boring, forgettable.” The 16 year old, Iraheta, also did a good job according to judge Randy Jackson, compared her to Kelly Clarkson and said she could sing her face off just like Kelly Clarkson. Tonight is the result show, and who knows if America get’s it wrong according to the judges, they may use their save.

Breaking up is never easy, and getting over someone is the hardest part of it all, especially when you invested so much of yourself into the relationship. This is usually hardest for those that did in fact fall in love but fell out of it at some point in their relationship. Despite how much someone wants to contest it takes a lot of energy to be in a relationship and even more energy sometimes to get over one. 

Getting over someone that is obviously getting over you is very important. It’s important that a person learns to move on with their lives in the fastest way possible so that you don’t become depressed or sad or think about the situation that you have found yourself in. Here are some key things to do in order to get over your ex and move forward with your life. 

Once you have found that you are back to being single,it’s important that you put away all the things that reminds you of when you were in your relationship, especially pictures. Next you should start making a list of all the things that you wish you had more time for, but maybe couldn’t find the time for while you were in your relationship. If you haven’t been working out, trust this would be the best time to start. Make a list of every single thing you’ve ever wanted to do, and choose one of them that you will do within the next week or few weeks, depending on what it is and the time frame required for it. 

Many people tend to fall into a trap of getting out of one relationship and suddenly start another. Big mistake! It’s important that during this time, you go back and revisit some things that probably caused your relationship to fail, and who was at fault. Now I did say to put away all things that remind you of your relationship, which still remains true, but this part has to do more so with you and your feelings. This particularly will help you heal and perhaps help you in your future relationships. 

Also, let’s not forget to go out and enjoy ourselves during this time, meet new people, mingle, have lots of fun and remember that there is that right person for you. 

Don’t be afraid of what tomorrow may bring, but rather live for today. Yesterday’s troubles are exactly what they are yesterday’s troubles, so don’t let them keep you down.

Ok…first let me apologize for taking long to write this for those of you that missed the show but i’m still recovering from the results. Let me just catch my breath.  Ok, Shawn Johnson, Lil Kim, and my favorite Gilles were announced safe early on in the show. And then something so unexpected happen, Steve-O was considered safe. Steve-O the one that continues to receive low scores and have had more injuries than one can count is still in the game. Now you understand why I was shocked. I guess he really does have some hard core fans out there supporting him, because it can’t be his dancing that’s carrying him through in this competition. Melissa Rycroft, Chuck and Ty were also left off the hook. The dance off was between football player, Lawrence Taylor and David (the comedian). Although David did have a higher score than Lawrence in last night’s performance, it didn’t give him any advantage, and unfortunately after his performance, he was sent packing. Poor David. I actually thought he would have gotten much further since he did do a pretty decent job throughout the competitions. This is just to show that you can stink in dancing, but if you have faithful fans then you can really win in these competitions. I guess we have to wait and see what next week will bring in this competition.

Yesterday in Los Angeles, Chris Brown pleaded not guilty to assaulting and threatning his girlfriend, Rihanna. He entered his plea and a few minutes into it, Rihanna’s lawyer said they were hoping a plea deal could be arranged before this has to go to trial. Rihanna said she would be willing to testify if necessary if something in this would be over quickly. If Chris Brown is convicted he could spend up to 5 years in prison.

We now have to wait and see what will this case come to.
