CB064037Being and remaining loyal is something that I believe we all deal with it at some point in our lives. So many of us take so much pride in saying how loyal we are to our friends, our family and our significant others, etc. We ensure these individuals that we wouldn’t do anything to hurt them and that no matter what we would always be there for them. We have these people place their trust in us because they believe in our loyalty. True loyalty, I believe is a nature that God possesses, God is loyal and ever so faithful to us. He makes promises unto us and he keeps them. I know that sometimes we may feel like God doesn’t quite answer our prayers the way we intended but he always answers them where the outcome is for the better. You see, being loyal to your friends, family and significant other is great and all but how about being loyal to the one that makes all things possible. God has done things for us that we just cannot begin to imagine or even comprehend. He has made a way for us when there probably was no way and yet we continue to turn our back on the one person that despite anything we can count on. You see, God asks us to be loyal to him in return, for some they think it’s a one way street when it really isn’t. God has a special love for those that love him and are loyal to him. Now you may ask, well how do I know that I’m being loyal to God and the answer is quite clear, are you following his word and doing all the things he’s asking of you. You might be thinking, well I’m trying to but God doesn’t just try to be loyal to us so we shouldn’t only try to do his will but really make a valiant effort. You see God has a set of laws that he simply ask us to follow to prove that we are loyal to him. How closely are we following God’s law, are we being completely loyal to God or are we really only pretending. I just thought I’d share this with all of you because I think sometimes it’s good to just make sure that we check our lives and make sure that we our ordering our steps in God’s words.

Who should say 'I love you' first? A woman's point of view!

“I love you,” three of the most important words a person hopes to hear after being in a relationship for quite some time. These three words have so much significance to them that it really does take your relationship to an entirely different level once they are said. Now the most difficult part for some in a relationship is who actually say these three words first. Should it be the guy or the girl or does it even matter?
Speaking from a woman’s perspective, I think that a guy should definitely say “I love you” first. Why? For the most part, a girl already knows how she feels about a man after being with them for whatever amount of time. A woman usually wears her emotions on her sleeves so saying these three words wouldn’t be a real problem. But for the most part, men usually are the ones that have commitment issues or they aren’t really up for expression, so this task is usually a little harder for them. A woman needs to know how her man feels about her first before she lets him know how she feels, therefore, he should definitely be saying these three words first and of course if they are on the same page then her respond should be “I love you too.”
Now for those women that just like to get straight to the point, then honestly more power to them in saying “I love you” first but personally I would just let him say it first.

Watch the trailer of Obsessed, starring Beyonce Knowles~

I cannot wait to go and watch this movie, the previews and trailers have really gotten me excited to go and watch it, but I just hope that I’m not disappointed. I never really imagine Beyonce being that outraged and angry but when it comes to your family, we all know that will make any woman lose their temper and their mind. I hope that this movie is all that it seems to be and not an utter disappointment. I will definitely come back and write about how I feel, without spoiling it for you all of course that may not get a chance to check it out opening weekend.

Can’t wait….

Long distance relationships, do they work?

Do long distance relationships work?

Well hate to say this, but it really depends. The real question to ask, is whether or not you want to stay committed to this individual or rather your partner. Do you really see this person to be the potential “one” in your life? Do you want to invest a lot of time, effort, and money into this other person. Do you trust this person fully that they will not take advantage of the fact that you are not around?

If you answer these questions with a yes, then there is a great likelihood that you can handle being in a long distance relationship.

You see, when someone loves another person, you will go beyond what you think you can do, to make it work, but it has to be  a two-way street. There shouldn’t be one person putting more time and effort than the other. Both people have to agree that no matter what, this is what they want.

I would suggest anyone to not do a long distance relationship, if you feel like you need to have someone constantly around, or that you long for someone to cuddle you, or give you that constant attention. Long distance should be left for individuals that are very much secure in how they feel about the other person and can trust that their partner feels the same.
