It wasn’t too long ago that social networking sites have become the new phenomena. So many people have become so intrigued with the idea that now we find so many people trying to create their own version or twists to their original counterparts. They even have applications available that are free and usable if you want to create your own. So many people are finding a way to connect and what easier way to do it then if not on the internet. Everything becomes so much more accessible on the world wide web and is literally at a click of a button. Facebook, Myspace, HI5, Bebo, Twitter are all social networking sites that came from an ingenious idea, and they don’t stop there. These sites are constantly finding ways to change and evolve, although sometimes their users may become upset it never seems to keep them away from going to visit their site. The great thing about these sites is that they welcome their users feedback and try to work from there.

Why are people though so caught up in these sites and just can’t get enough? Many people I should say have a lot of spare time and are always looking for something to do. These sites provide this outlet, it allows them to check out and find out what everyone else is basically up to. They can keep track of their friends, find out who’s in a relationship, who’s broken up, where the person is working, ?when is someone’s birthday, etc. No one really spends time calling people anymore, because the internet and ?these sites makes it so easy. Sometimes, I wonder though if people really have nothing better to do in their spare time and then I remember that I am one of those people (lol).?

10 Tips to Conquer Your Interview

Interviews can be very stressful and nerve racking for most people. Although may be, it’s very important that your portray your best possible self, while remaining true to yourself. You want to come across as the best possible candidate for your dream job.

Here are some helpful tips to help you get to the place you’ve always dreamed of.

1. Be on time. This is so important, you never want to be late or keep anyone waiting when you have an interview. You want to present your self in the best possible light and being late will definitely hurt you. Make sure that you plan your route and foresee any possible problems prior to the day of your interview.

2. Dress to impress. You want to be sure to put on your most professional wear for this day. For the gentlemen, a nice black or navy suit with a light shirt and a matching tie will do. And for the ladies, a nice skirt suit or pants suit, with a light blouse will do. Don’t overdo it ladies with the hair or makeup. Keep it light and simple.

3. Prepare yourself with possible questions they may ask. It is important that you prep yourself on the different questions that your interviewer may ask, always expect the unexpected, or try to prepare for it!

4. Be confident. Have faith in what you’ve accomplished and what you’ve done. Make sure you present yourself as if you are a commodity the company cannot be without, while still remaining humble. You never and I repeat never want to come across as arrogant.

5. Relax. This is the hardest thing to do, but it’s important that you take in deep breaths and remain calm. Anxiety can cause you to perform badly. Try not to make it more than it is, even if your life depends on getting the job.

6. Be honest. Never lie to the person that is interviewing you. If you aren’t sure of something then let them know you don’t know, but you will be sure to find out and get back to them. Don’t try to give a lists of skills that you really don’t possess, rather tell them that you are a fast learner and you are always willing to put in extra hours.

7. Be yourself. Never try to be what you think they want you to be, because for the most part, these people are trained to read right through that.

8. Don’t forget to bring any necessary documents and your resume, just in case they don’t have it on hand. Always stay a step ahead in the game.

9. Prepare questions that you would want to be answered, because they will ask you if you have any questions.

10. Send your interviewer a thank you note. Let them know you appreciate them taking out the time to interview with you!

Should a couple get married just because they are having a baby? For the most part, having a baby usually comes after two people are married and are ready to bring someone else, a baby into their union. Ok let me be the first to say that week after week this show is getting better and better, at least the dancing is for the most part. There is really some competition happening and some definite contenders to look out for. Gilles and Cheryl Burke got a 30/30 tonight and it was very much deserved, they performed that argentine tango flawlessly and it was beautifully executed. Another top score was given to Melissa Rycroft and her partner Toni Davolani, which received a 29/30, they performed the lindy hop and it was very entertaining. My other favorite couple was Lil Kim and her partner, Derek Hough. Another couple that gave good performances was the olympian Shawn Johnson and her partner, Mark Ballas. Overall, I would rate tonight’s show to be a B. I can’t wait to find out who’s going home tomorrow night! Stay tuned for the update.

Recently, you may have read an article or seen a news clip that involves the release of a  computer virus or worm that is scheduled to take place on or around April 1, 2009 ( also known as, “April Fools Day” ). We wanted to take this time to remind all of our readers to be aware that malicious virus/worm and other “malware”  activity tends to peak during this time of the year.   Most antivirus software will detect and block these malicious attempts, however, all users should continue to be cautious when opening suspect emails, attachments or other documents.
